MRS. FIELD'S COOKIES
As far as I know this is an authentic Mrs. Field's cookie recipe. These cookies are some of the tastiest I've ever had. They are hard on the outside, but soft and delicious on the inside. It's our family' favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe! When you take the cookies out of the oven they will seem a little softer than an average batch of cookies, but not to worry, they firm up right away. I hope you enjoy them!!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Combine softened butter and both sugars in a mixing bowl. Whip together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla. Mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Put oatmeal into a food processor to break down into a powder. Add the "oatmeal flour" to the rest of the dry ingredients.
- Slowly add the flour mixture (half at a time) into the sugar mixture. Blend with an electric mixer until well combined. Put the milk chocolate chips into the food processor and chop into small pieces. Using the electric mixer, add them to the dough. Now stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips with a spoon.
- Drop golf ball sized balls of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool on a wire rack for an additional 10 minutes. Enjoy!

MRS. FIELD'S OATMEAL COOKIES
I've been searching for a good Oatmeal Cookie recipe for a while but the ones I came across always had some ingredient that I was allergic to. I got this recipe from one of my students when I gave them a gag homework assignment. They were to find me an oatmeal cookie recipe that doesn't have nuts or shortening as I am allergic to both. Who knew that it would be one of the few assignment they completed that week (smile). I got many entries but, if I was grading this assignment, this child would definetly get an A+ but, how could you loose with a recipe from Mrs. Fields? This recipe makes a lot of cookies.

MRS. FIELDS CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES.
This makes a large batch of cookies good for either a crowd, to freeze into ready-to-cook balls, or just half them. Use egg sub or just 2 small eggs. They also make great ice cream sandwiches!

- Cream butter and sugars together in the bowl of your mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Add eggs, one at a time allowing the first to mix in before adding the second. Add the vanilla, salt, baking soda and powder. Mix well and then add the flour and oats. After the dough comes together, add the two types of chocolate and mix until it is dispersed evenly. I usually have to mix it by hand a bit after I take the bowl off the mixer. Refrigerate for one hour.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or a silpat liner. Using a 1 1/2″ scoop, place dough on lined cookie sheets and bake for 9-10 minutes until the outside of cookie is set and the top is just beginning to brown. Allow cookie to cool for 5 minutes on the cookie sheet, then remove to a cooling rack.
