GRANDMA'S NOODLES II

Steps:
- Combine egg, salt, milk. Add flour. (For thicker noodles add baking powder to flour before mixing.) Separate into two balls.
- Roll out dough, and let stand for 20 minutes.
- Cut into strips and spread to dry--dust with a little flour. Let dry for approximately 2 hours.
- Drop into hot soup--cook for about 10 minutes.

MY GRANDMA'S CHINESE NOODLES
My grandma used to make this dish all the time for my family and always made 2 great big stock pots of. Until just recently i was terrified of making by myself i used to just chop the veggies up.

Steps:
- 1. brown chop suey meat in large pan until browned. fill pan with water and boil meat until fork tender. while boiling meat in small pan combine celery and onions and cook until transulcent and tender 2-5 mins. when meat is tender drain water add the celery and onions add 1 stick of butter and brown meat and veggies. add drained green beans
- 2. cook noodles according to package. drain noodles and return to pan add the other stick of butter to noodles and brown them.
- 3. add noodles to meat and veggies and add the 1 1/2 jars of beads of molassis and soy soy sauce. stir all together and serve

- In a small bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center. In another bowl, beat the egg yolks, egg, water and oil; pour into well. Stir to form a stiff dough., Turn dough onto a well-floured surface; knead 8-10 times. Divide into thirds. Roll each portion to 1/8-in. thickness. Cut noodles into 1/4-in. strips; cut the strips into 2-in. lengths. Cook immediately in boiling broth for 5-7 minutes or until tender; drain.

This is a recipe that was given to me by my grandmother. It is a very savory and tasty soup and I believe that all will like it. If you would like to add even more flavor, try using smoked chicken!!

Steps:
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add egg noodles and oil, and boil for 8 minutes, or until tender. Drain, and rinse under cool running water.
- In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, combine broth, salt, and poultry seasoning. Bring to a boil. Stir in celery and onion. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water together until cornstarch is completely dissolved. Gradually add to soup, stirring constantly. Stir in noodles and chicken, and heat through.

I don't like cabbage, really. But my grandmother passed this recipe down. If you like bacon and noodles, then you'll love this. You can't even taste the cabbage.

Steps:
- Place water and butter in a large, deep skillet and bring to a boil; stir in bacon and return to a boil.
- Stir cabbage into the bacon mixture; simmer until the thickest pieces of cabbage are fork-tender and the liquid has almost evaporated, about 20 minutes. Drain.
- Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil. Stir in egg noodles and return to a boil. Cook noodles uncovered, stirring occasionally, until tender but still slightly firm, about 5 minutes. Drain well.
- Lightly toss egg noodles with bacon and cabbage; season to taste with salt and black pepper.
