Orange Cooler Recipes

Steps:

• In a half gallon pitcher, combine all ingredients. Add enough water to make 1/2 gallon. Mix well, allowing sugar to dissolve. Chill until desired temperature.

• In a stainless steel or enameled saucepan, combine orange rind, sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 5 minutes. Let the syrup cool and strain into a large bowl. Stir in bourbon, orange juice and lemon juice. Chill until cold. Transfer to a punch bowl set in a hollowed-out block of ice. Stir in champagne. Garnish the punch with cherries and orange slices.

• Add 4 cups water to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags and let steep for 7 minutes. Remove the tea bags and stir in the agave nectar. Let the tea cool before adding it to a large pitcher along with 2 cups ice and 2 more cups water. Add the orange slices before serving.

• Peel the mangoes and cut as much of the flesh off as you can.
• Add orange juice and ice and puree in food processor or blender until smooth.
• Add lime juice to taste.
• Pour into a pitcher over the ice cubes and let the foam settle a few moments, then thin with the sparkling water.

Pour into a greased 1-qt. baking dish. , In a bowl, combine biscuit mix and nutmeg; stir in milk just until moistened. Drop by tablespoonfuls over orange mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 20-25 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Serve warm over ice cream.

• Make ginger ale: Place ginger syrup in a large pitcher; stir in seltzer. Place 1 scoop vanilla ice cream in the bottom of each of four glasses. Top each with 2 scoops orange sherbet; pour ginger ale to fill glasses. Serve immediately
