PEPPERONI PIZZA MONKEY BREAD RECIPE BY TASTY
Despite this party appetizer's name, cheesy pull-apart goodness is no monkey business. Flaky biscuit dough, marinara sauce, cheese, and pepperoni are baked together in a bundt pan, then you dig right in, with more marinara sauce for dipping. Make this indulgent recipe your own by replacing the pepperoni with your favorite pizza toppings.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF (180ºC). Grease a 10-inch (25 cm) bundt pan with nonstick spray.
- Tear a biscuit in half and flatten to approximately 2 inches (5 cm) wide. Top with ½ teaspoon marinara sauce, 2 slices of pepperoni, and 1 teaspoon mozzarella. Pinch the dough together, sealing the fillings inside, and roll into a ball. Repeat until all of the dough is filled.
- Arrange a layer of pizza balls in the prepared bundt pan and top with ⅓ of the remaining mozzarella.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
- Drizzle some of the olive oil mixture over the pizza balls. Continue layering the remaining pizza balls, mozzarella, and more of the olive oil mixture, reserving about 2 tablespoons for brushing.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the biscuit dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling between the pizza balls. Let cool for 2-3 minutes before inverting onto a serving platter.
- Brush the remaining olive oil mixture all over the monkey bread. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top. Warm the remaining marinara sauce and serve alongside for dipping.
- Enjoy!

PEPPERONI-PROVOLONE BREAD
This is my mom's recipe that's been in our family for 30+ years. It is a hit everywhere and is literally the first dish gone. I make it for potlucks, holidays, football games, or a meal/appetizer at home. Although I consider this a somewhat advanced recipe, it is easy to master. It is my most-requested recipe! Serve alongside your favorite marinara sauce. Freezes very well!!

Steps:
- Add 2 cups flour, sugar, yeast, and salt to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment.
- Combine water, milk, and butter in a saucepan over low heat. Heat until warm; butter does not need to melt. Gradually pour into the flour mixture, beating at medium speed until fully combined, about 2 minutes. Add remaining flour and continue mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Switch to a dough hook and knead until smooth and elastic, 5 to 6 minutes. Place dough in a large, lightly-oiled bowl and turn to coat. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in volume, about 1 hour.
- Punch down dough and turn onto a lightly floured surface. Divide in half; return one half to the bowl and cover. Roll dough into a 12x16-inch rectangle. Whisk eggs with a small amount of water; brush some egg wash over the half of the rectangle farthest away from you.
- Arrange 16 provolone cheese slices in a single layer on the dough, leaving a 1-inch border on the edges. Place 1/2 of the pepperoni over the cheese. Starting at the edge closest to you, carefully roll dough up. Brush seams with egg wash and pinch them closed using some flour. Place loaf, seam-side down, on a large cookie sheet lined with parchment paper; cover. Repeat with remaining dough, cheese, and pepperoni.
- Let loaves rest, covered, for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Uncover loaves and brush remaining egg wash over the entire surface of both loaves.
- Bake in the preheated oven, rotating pans halfway through, until golden, 30 to 35 minutes. Let cool for 15 to 20 minutes. Slice into desired thickness and serve warm.

CARAMEL MONKEY BREAD
This sticky monkey bread is definitely a brunch crowd-pleaser! To make it, soft buttery, yeast-risen dough (similar to brioche) is rolled into balls, dusted with cinnamon sugar and baked with ooey-gooey caramel. It's best served warm, allowing the sticky layers to be easily plucked apart.

Steps:
- Make the brioche: Coat a large bowl with cooking spray and set aside. Combine the flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook and mix on low speed to combine. Add the milk and eggs and mix until combined, then increase the speed to medium high and mix until the dough begins to pull away from the sides, about 5 minutes.
- Reduce the speed to medium; start adding the butter, a few pieces at a time, beating until incorporated before adding more, about 5 minutes. Increase the mixer speed to medium high and continue to mix until the dough is glossy and slightly tacky but not sticky, about 7 minutes. Transfer the dough to the prepared bowl, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
- Make the caramel: Combine the sugar and 1/4 cup water in a saucepan. Heat over medium-high heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture starts to boil, 4 to 5 minutes. Continue cooking, swirling the pan but not stirring, until dark amber, 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the butter, heavy cream, vanilla and salt. Let cool to room temperature.
- Assemble the monkey bread: Coat a 15-cup bundt pan with cooking spray. Stir together the sugar and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Put the butter in a medium microwave-safe bowl and melt in the microwave. Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Slice the dough into 4 equal pieces and roll each into a 9- to 10-inch-long log. Slice each log into roughly 10 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball, dusting the surface with more flour as needed. Pour about half of the caramel into the bundt pan.
- Working in batches, coat 20 dough balls in the butter, letting the excess drip off, then roll in the cinnamon sugar and arrange in a single layer in the pan. Drizzle the remaining caramel on top. Repeat with the remaining 20 dough balls, melted butter and cinnamon sugar, then arrange in the bundt pan. Set aside until the dough is slightly puffed, about 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350˚ F. Place the bundt pan on a rimmed baking sheet and bake until the monkey bread is dark golden brown on top, about 1 hour 10 minutes. Let cool for 30 minutes in the pan, then turn out onto a platter.
PULL-APART BREAD WITH PEPPERONI AND MOZZARELLA
This appetizer-sized bread bite is simple to put together and takes advantage of store-bought rolls. The best part, you can modify the servings for a couple or a crowd. Feel free to change it up and use French bread, a bread boule, etc., as long as it isn't sliced through. Make sure the pepperoni is big enough to be folded in half. Serve with marinara sauce if desired.

PRALINE MONKEY BREAD
I remember my mom making this while I was growing up. Only she used Domino Liquid brown sugar, that I can't find anymore. I came up with an easier way to make this scrumtious family favorite and added my own touch with a praline mixture that can be tasted throughout, not in spots. My DH and boys Love this and it is always a treat when I make it. ;)
