RANCH BURGERS

My family loves it and they love Hidden Valley Ranch and my husband grill those burgers and go outside and smell those grilled burgers and smells great and they are so delicious and tasty.

Steps:

  • 1. In large bowl, combine beef, Hidden Valley Ranch mix, bread crumbs, onions, salt and pepper. Shape into 6 patties. Grill over medium hot coals 8 to 10 minutes for doneness.

1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
3/4 c hidden valley ranch mix
3/4 c dry bread crumbs
1/4 c minced onions
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

Grilled burgers seasoned with Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix with minced onions are served up on toasted hamburger buns with lettuce and tomato.

Ranch Burgers from Hidden Valley® image

Steps:

  • Preheat the grill or broiler.
  • In a large bowl, combine the beef, seasoning mix, onion, and pepper and mix well. If desired, add bread crumbs to meat mixture, too.
  • With wet hands shape the meat mixture into 6 patties, each about 1-inch thick. Grill the burgers for 5 to 7 minutes per side or until an internal temperature of 165 degrees F is reached and juices run clear.
  • Serve the burgers topped with the lettuce and tomato.

Steps:

  • Combine seasoning/salad dressing mix with beef and cheese.
  • Shape into 4 patties; cook thoroughly, until meat is no longer pink in the center; (We like to grill ours, but these can also be cooked on the stovetop).
  • Toast buns before serving, if desired.

This is a reduced fat version of the recipe on the back of the Hidden Valley Ranch packet that we absolutely loved making and eating this summer! I adapted it to suit my Weight Watchers programme. You could also try this recipe with ground turkey, although we love it with lean ground beef.

Low Fat Hidden Valley Ranch Burgers image

Steps:

  • Mix the dry ranch salad dressing mix thoroughly into the ground beef.
  • Shape into 4 burger patties.
  • Cook the burgers thoroughly- we grill them on the barbecue for the best flavour.
  • If adding processed cheese slices, put one on each burger 30 seconds to 1 minute before removing from the heat.
  • Serve the burgers on the burger buns with low fat mayonnaise or ketchup and your favourite salad toppings.
