Sesame Chicken Skewers image

Steps:

  • Soak bamboo skewers in warm water for 1 hour.
  • While skewers soak, mix teriyaki sauce, sesame oil, lemon juice, garlic, and sweetener together in a large glass or ceramic bowl. Add chicken, cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour; the longer you marinate, the better the flavor.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Thread chicken onto bamboo skewers and place on a nonstick shallow baking pan. Discard marinade. Sprinkle chicken with sesame seeds.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until chicken pieces are no longer pink in the centers and juices run clear, 30 to 40 minutes.

Steps:

  • Mix all wet ingredients together in a large zip lock bag to make marinade, then place chicken into a bag with onions and pineapple.
  • place in fridge for at least an hour.
  • Thread chicken onion and pineapple onto skewers then grill or broil about 8 minutes, or until done then sprinkle with sesame seed.
  • I also add other veggies to the skewers like tomato and peppers sometimes, also I make extra marinade to baste the chicken with while grilling sometimes.

  • Rinse the chicken and cut into small pieces.
  • Pat dry with paper towels. Soak the bamboo skewers for 30 minutes before using.
  • Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients in the Marinade for 30 minutes.
  • Make sure the Marinade nicely coat the chicken meat.
  • Thread 3-4 pieces of chicken onto the bamboo skewers. Set aside.

  • Combine the ginger, garlic, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice and sesame seeds. Divide between two bowls, then add the chicken pieces to one and the prawns to the other. Toss both mixtures well, then leave to marinate in the fridge for 15 mins.
