This is a light and refreshing alcoholic drink perfect for a hot summer's afternoon. It is certain to be a hit with the ladies! I use Red Stripe since its taste is closest that of Castle Lager, but any lager would be good.

As Eddie Money would say, "I think I'm in love. . .love, love, love, love." WOW is this a good one. If you are going to serve it over ice, the ingredients are right on the money. If you are drinking it straight, you may want to decrease the lemonade to 2 oz and try it before adding the last 1 oz. LEMON SHANDY
Steps:
- In a small saucepan bring sugar and 1 cup water to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved, and stir in zest. Cool sugar syrup to room temperature.
- Transfer syrup to a small pitcher and stir in remaining 2 cups water, lemon juice, and mint. Chill lemonade until cold. (Makes about 4 1/2 cups lemonade.)
- Pour 1/4 cup lemonade, or to taste, into each of 4 chilled beer glasses and top off with beer.
