  • Combine the cabbage, bell pepper, onion and carrot.
  • Whisk together the vinegar, oil and sugar. Pour enough dressing over salad to coat. Mix well , cover and refrigerate 6 to 8 hours.

  • If using a bag slaw mix, place the shredded mix in a medium bowl and set aside. If using fresh vegetables, shred or chop and combine in a medium bowl -- set aside.

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, whisk together miso, honey, vinegar and oil. Season with a pinch of salt (miso is salty, so don't overdo it) and a few grinds of black pepper.
