Steps:
- For crust: cream butter.
- Add brown sugar.
- Add beaten egg yolks and beat well.
- Add flour and combine thoroughly.
- Spread mixture in bottom of greased 8" square pan.
- For topping: beat 2 egg whites until stiff.
- Blend in lightly packed brown sugar.
- Add vanilla, salt and fold in nuts.
- Spread over crust.
- Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 min.

Steps:
- 1. Break up the cookie dough and, with floured fingers, press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13-inch pan. This forms the crust.
- 2. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until light golden. Cool for 15 minutes.
- 3. While crust is baking, in a large saucepan, melt 1 cup of the chips and 1 cup of the dip over medium heat, stirring constantly, until melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in cereal and pecans.
- 4. Spread the cereal mixture over the cooled crust. In a small saucepan, heat the remaining chips and dip over medium heat, stirring constantly, till melted and smooth. Spread this over the cereal mixture.
- 5. Refrigerate until the top chocolate mixture is set, about 30 minutes. Cut into 6 rows by 6 rows, and store tightly covered. Enjoy!
SINFUL BARS
Steps:
- 1. Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Mix together cake mix, butter, and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Spread 1/2 of the cake mixture in greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 6 minutes. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips over baked cake. Drizzle caramel over nuts and chocolate chips. Crumble and pat on the remaining cake mixture and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and while hot, cut into into 18 - 24 pieces. Delicious served warm. Let cool completely before storing in covered container.
'SINFUL' BUTTER PECAN TURTLE BARS
I got this recipe from a dear friend yrs ago...when we wanted something ooey gooey and bad for us...this is what we made! It's like a caramelly toffee center, mmmmmm These are always the first to disappear on the holiday goodie trays...course I don't usually have many left to put on the tray...lol

- 1. combine flour, brown sugar, butter. Pat into a 9x13 pan, sprinkle with pecans, set aside.
- 2. To prepare caramel layer; In a heavy pan, combine brown sugar and butter, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly and fairly fast to incorporate the butter into the brown sugar. Continue this until mixture begins to boil. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour over crust. Bake at 350 for 20-23 minutes or until caramel is bubbly and crust golden. Remove from oven, and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Allow chips to melt slightly then swirl over top! When almost cool, cut into 1 1/2" squares...or in my sons case, 6x6" chunks lol

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together 2/3 cup butter, white sugar, and flour until evenly crumbly. Press into a 9 inch square baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
- In a 2 quart saucepan, combine 1/2 cup butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and sweetened condensed milk. Bring to a boil. Continue to boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and beat vigorously with a wooden spoon for about 3 minutes. Pour over baked crust (warm or cool). Cool until it begins to firm.
- Place chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 1 minute, then stir and continue to heat and stir at 20 second intervals until chocolate is melted and smooth. Pour chocolate over the caramel layer and spread evenly to cover completely. Chill. Cut into 1 inch squares. These need to be small because they are so rich.

SINFUL CHOCOLATE CARAMEL CANDY

- 1. Lightly grease one 13 x 9 inch pan.
- 2. To Make Base: Combine 1 cup milk chocolate chips, 1/4 cup butterscotch chips and 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter in a small saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until melted and smooth. Spread into the bottom of the prepared pan. Refrigerate until set.
- 3. To Make Filling: In a heavy saucepan melt the butter over medium-high heat. Stir in sugar and evaporated milk. Bring mixture to a boil and stir for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the marshmallow cream, 1/4 cup of the peanut butter, and the vanilla. Add the peanuts, and spread over the base layer. Refrigerate until set.
- 4. To Make Caramel Layer: Combine the caramels and cream in a saucepan, stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Spread over the top of the filling and refrigerate until smooth.
- 5. To Make Frosting Layer: In another saucepan combine 1 cup milk chocolate chips, 1/4 butterscotch chips and 1/4 cup peanut butter, and stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Pour over the caramel layer. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Cut into 1 inch squares. Store in the refrigerator.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 °F.
- To make the base, place the butter and sugar in a bowl and beat until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the cornflour and plain flour, turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead briefly.
- Press into a greased and lined 7 x 11 shallow cake tin and bake for 25 minutes or until firm.
- To make the filling, place the butter, brown sugar and honey in a saucepan and cook over a medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar melts and the ingredients are combined.
- Bring to the boil and simmer for 7 minutes.
- Beat in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla essence.
- Pour the filling over the base and bake for 20 minutes longer.
- Set aside to cool completely.
- Spread the melted chocolate over the filling and set aside until firm, then cut into squares.
- Store at room temperature in a cookie tin or airtight container.

- Heat oven to 160C/fan 140C/gas 3 and lightly butter a 20 x 23 cm shallow baking tin. Sift the flours together, then stir in the sugar, almonds and a pinch of salt. Rub in the butter and vanilla seeds to make fine crumbs, then tip into the tin and press down with the back of a spoon. Put in the freezer for 5 mins, then bake for 35-40 mins. Cool.
- For the caramel, put the sugar and 100ml water in a heavy-based pan, heat gently until the sugar dissolves, then turn up the heat until it turns dark amber. Stir in the cream in four additions until smooth and shiny - take care as it will bubble up. Stir in the butter and ½ tsp salt. Pour over the shortbread and cool.
- For the topping, melt the chocolate and butter over a pan of simmering water, then pour over the caramel and smooth out with the back of a spoon. Chill until firm, at least 30 mins. Cut into quarters, then 16 pieces. Will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
