SMOKED SALMON AND ANGEL HAIR PASTA image

Steps:

  • chop the garlic. Melt butter in large skillet.( fill pasta pot with water and start to heat up) Gently fry the garlic for five minutes or until soft. Add the horseradish cream and mustard, add the white wine, once combined add the cream, nest add the smoked salmon warm throughtly,add salt and black pepper to taste.When the pasta water is boiling Cook the angel hair pasta to the specifications of the package. Place pasta in bowla nd top with smoked salmon sauce sprinkle with chopped chives

1 cup of whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon horseradish cream

Steps:

  • Cook pasta in large pot of boiling salted water until just tender but still firm to bite. Drain well; return to same pot.
  • Combine cream, milk, dill, onions, capers and lemon peel in heavy small saucepan. Bring to boil over medium-high heat. Add sauce to pasta; toss to coat. Add salmon and toss to combine. Season win salt and pepper and serve.

6 ounces angel hair pasta
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup milk (do not use low-fat or nonfat)
1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 1/2 tablespoons drained capers
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
4 ounces thinly sliced smoked salmon, cut into thin strips

Smoked salmon adds a nice, rich saltiness (and extra protein!) without any extra work for the cook-just drape the slices over each bowl before serving.

One-Pot Spring Pasta with Smoked Salmon image

Steps:

  • Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water, stirring occasionally, until very al dente, 7 minutes (or 2 minutes less than package instructions). Add asparagus and continue to cook, stirring, 1 minute. Add peas and continue to cook until cooked through, about 1 minute more. Drain pasta, asparagus, and peas together, reserving 1/2 cup pasta cooking liquid.
  • Transfer pasta and vegetables to a large bowl. Add butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 1/2 tsp. pepper, and remaining 3/4 tsp. salt. Toss, adding reserved pasta cooking liquid bit by bit as needed, until a smooth sauce coats pasta (you might not need all the liquid).
  • Divide pasta among bowls. Top with salmon, basil, and remaining 1/2 cup sour cream. Season with lots of pepper.

  • In a small bowl, combine salmon and scallions, creme fraiche and a generous grinding of black pepper.
  • Heat a large pot of boiling salted water. Cook noodles until tender. Drain.

Pasta with Smoked Salmon and Capers image

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion and sauté until translucent, but not browned. Add the smoked salmon and continue cooking just until the salmon turns opaque, 1 to 2 minutes. Pour in the cream and add the capers. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Be careful how much salt you add because the smoked salmon and capers are both salty. Add the pasta and toss to coat. If there doesn't appear to be enough sauce, add a couple of tablespoons of the pasta cooking water to thin it down. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the pasta and cook until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of the pasta water then drain the pasta and put it back into the pot. Place the spinach on top of the pasta.
  • While the pasta cooks, begin making the sauce. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook for 2 minutes, until it is transparent. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Break the smoked salmon into pieces and add it to the pan along with the cherry tomatoes, artichoke hearts, sour cream, lemon juice, capers, chili flakes, and ½ cup of the pasta water. Bring the pan to a boil and stir until everything is creamy and mixed together. Season to taste with salt and pepper then mix in the dill.
