Spiked Cider Cocktail Recipes

Steps:

• Mix together the cider, rum, and schnapps in a large pitcher. Add the apples to a small bowl and toss them with the lemon juice. Thread the diced apples onto skewers. Pour the spiked cider into glasses filled with ice, then garnish with an apple skewer and serve.

• Pour water into a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and toss in the orange spice tea bags. Cover and let steep 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and stir in sugar, apple cider, rum, and 2 of the cinnamon sticks. Heat just to steaming -- do not boil.
• Ladle hot cider into 6 mugs and drop 1/2 teaspoon butter into each. Garnish with a cinnamon "swizzle" stick.

• In 3-quart saucepan, place cloves, cinnamon sticks and star anise. Cook over medium heat 1 minute or until lightly toasted. Add apple cider and orange juice; simmer 10 minutes (do not boil). Cool completely.
• Meanwhile, lightly moisten rim of each of 4 mugs or glasses. Invert mugs into cinnamon-sugar; twist until rim has been evenly coated.
• Add rum to cooled cider; strain to remove spices. Place ice in mugs; ladle cider over ice.
