My husband likes to eat these with tons of ice cream and chocolate drizzled on top, but I love to eat these bars for breakfast. They taste great warmed up in the microwave the next morning.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400º. Grease a 9x9x2 pan.
  • Mix Bisquick, oats and sugar.
  • Cut in the butter until fully mixed.
  • Press half of the bisquick mixture into the pan and spread the jam on top. Press the rest of the mixture gently on top of the jam.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes until lightly browned.

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Stir 1/2 cup white sugar and cornstarch together in a medium bowl. Mix in 1 cup sliced strawberries at a time.
  • Combine flour, remaining 1/2 cup white sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. Stir in melted butter and egg with a fork until crumbly.
  • Press 1/2 of the crumble mixture into the prepared pan. Cover with strawberry mixture, then top with remaining crumble mixture.
  • Bake in the oven until golden brown, about 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature, about 20 minutes. Place in the refrigerator before slicing into 16 bars.

Steps:

  • For the filling: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Add the strawberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch and lime zest and juice to a bowl. Toss to combine and set aside.
  • For the crust and crumble: In a food processor, combine the flour, butter, brown sugar and baking powder. Pulse until a loose crumb forms; continue to pulse as you add the cream.
  • Grease a 9-by-13-inch pan with butter. Dump two-thirds of the flour mixture onto the prepared pan and press flat. Top with the strawberry mixture, spreading it into an even layer. Sprinkle over the remaining flour mixture, followed by the turbinado sugar.
  • Bake the bars until the top is golden and the strawberry layer is thick and bubbling, 28 to 30 minutes. Remove and allow to cool.
  • For the icing: Whisk together the powdered sugar and lime juice until smooth.
  • Cut the cobbler into small squares and drizzle with the icing. Add to a platter and serve.

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine flour, powdered sugar, nuts, and salt for base in a large bowl. Add butter and cut in with a pastry blender until mixture resembles cornmeal.
  • Transfer mixture to a 12x18-inch baking sheet and flatten with the palm of your hand into an even layer. You do not need to butter the pan; the dough has enough butter in it so it will not stick.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for 15 minutes. Leave oven on.
  • Meanwhile, combine 1 cup flour and sugar for topping in a bowl. Add butter and cut in with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; you do not want big clumps of butter.

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F Grease a 13×9 inch pan; set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of the sugar, the baking powder and flour. Mix in the salt and the lemon zest, and stir together with a fork Cut in the butter and egg with a pastry blender (or two knives if you don't have one) until the largest chunks are about pea-sized. The mixture should be crumbly without much loose flour.
  • Spread about half of the dough mixture in an even layer over the bottom of the prepared pan and press down firmly to form the bottom crust.
