A refreshing strawberry cooler with a hint of mint - have this cool beverage ready in just 10 minutes.

Steps:

  • In food processor, process 4 cups of the strawberries and the sugar with on-and-off motions until smooth.
  • Pour pureed strawberries into large pitcher. Slice remaining 1 cup strawberries; set aside.
  • Just before serving, stir in ice, carbonated beverage, sliced strawberries and mint.

Watermelon-Strawberry Cooler image

Steps:

  • Place 1 cup water, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 6 cups watermelon, 1 cup berries, 1/3 cup sugar and 3/4 teaspoon minced mint in a blender; cover and process until smooth. Transfer to a large pitcher. Repeat with remaining water, lemon juice, fruit, sugar and minced mint., Refrigerate 1 hour or until cold. If desired, press through a fine-mesh strainer. Serve with watermelon wedges and mint leaves.

  • In a blender, process the water, sliced strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice and zest in batches until smooth. Strain the berry seeds if desired. Pour mixture into a pitcher; stir in the ginger ale. Serve in chilled glasses over ice. If desired, garnish with strawberries.

Minted Mandarin and Strawberry Coolers image

Steps:

  • Divide strawberries among eight to ten 10-ounce glasses. Add 2 mint leaves to each glass. Muddle until strawberries are crushed and juicy. Add 4 or 5 ice cubes to each glass, then fill three-quarters full with juice. Garnish with mint sprigs.

  • In a medium sauce pan, combine 2 cups of the water and the raw honey. Heat over medium-high heat until honey completely dissolves. Remove from heat and set this simple honey syrup aside to cool.
  • Let the frozen strawberries thaw. Once thawed, muddle (mush) the strawberries until they are all mushed and you have made a thick strawberry paste. If you like larger chunks of fruit, don't mush the strawberries as much.
  • In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, the strawberries, and the remaining 5 cups water. Stir to combine. Add about half of the simple syrup into the mixture and stir to combine. Continue to add the syrup, 1/4 cup at a time, until the lemonade reaches your desired level of sweetness.
  • Add the fresh mint leaves and stir again. If possible, place the lemonade mixture in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. If you can wait this time, you will be rewarded. If not, it will still be super tasty -- just not as minty.
