- In a large bowl, combine the flours, baking powder, salt, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder and baking soda. Cut in 3 tablespoons butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; add cheese. Stir in buttermilk just until moistened., Drop by 2 tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake at 425° until golden brown, 10-12 minutes. Melt remaining butter; stir in parsley and remaining garlic powder. Brush over biscuits. Serve warm.

Stir in milk until a soft dough forms; stir 30 seconds. , Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Combine butter and garlic powder; brush over biscuits. Serve warm. Freeze option: Freeze cooled biscuits in resealable plastic freezer bags. To use, heat in a preheated 350° oven 15-20 minutes.

- Add the buttermilk and ale and stir in with a wooden spoon just to combine. Using a 1/4 cup measure, scoop the dough onto the baking sheet, leaving about 1 1/2 inches between biscuits. Bake until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes. Serve warm.

- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, sugar, cayenne, salt and pepper. Add the butter to flour mixture and crumble together until mixture resembles coarse corn meal. Add the grated cheese and give it a good mix.
- Add in buttermilk and stir only until combined. Do not stir too much or it will make the biscuits too tough.
- On a lightly floured surface, flatten the dough by hand or by rolling pin until about 1/2-inch-thick cut with 3-inch cutter. Keep reforming the dough (don't overwork) until it is all used.
- Place biscuits on a parchment-covered baking tray. Bake for about 15 minutes or until nicely golden brown. Remove from the oven and brush them with the melted butter. Keep warm.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Combine biscuit ingredients in a large bowl and mix well, but not too well (chunks are OK).
- Mixing may require a bit of kneading.
- Roll about 1/4 cup of dough to make potential biscuits and place them on a non-greased, non-stick cookie sheet (there should be 12).
- Make sure that they are well-spaced.
- Place biscuits in the oven for 15-17 minutes.
- While the biscuits are in the oven, combine glaze ingredients. Melt the butter at 15 second intervals until it is melted.
- Remove the biscuits from the oven when they are golden brown.
- Pour or brush the glaze onto the biscuits.
- Enjoy!

- Cut the butter into the dry ingredients, add the milk and mix quickly but thoroughly.
