Tequila Martinis Recipes
TEQUILA GRAPEFRUIT MARTINI
Steps:
- Combine the tequila, grapefruit juice, vermouth, bitters and orange juice in a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.
- Dip the rims of martini or coupe glasses in grapefruit juice and then in sanding sugar. Strain the cocktail into the glasses and garnish with candied grapefruit rind. Serve immediately.

- In a pitcher or a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila and the ice cubes and stir or shake 20 times. Place the Triple Sec in a chilled cocktail glass, swirl it around to coat the inside of the glass, and discard it. Strain the tequila into the glass. Thread the twist of lime and the strip of chile onto the cocktail skewer, perch it on the rim of the glass, and serve at once.
SILVER-TEQUILA MARTINI
To chill a martini glass, fill it with ice, then cold water. Let it stand 5 minutes, then drain.

Steps:
- Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add tequila, vermouth, grapefruit juice, and bitters. Cover and shake several times.
- Stir together silver flakes and sugar on a small plate. Run grapefruit wedge along the rim of a chilled martini glass. Dip rim in sugar mixture to evenly coat. Strain tequila mixture into glass, add grapefruit twist, and serve.
