These gluten-free, egg-free brownies are divine! If you love chocolate and want all the taste of a brownie but none of the problems of wheat and eggs, try these!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly oil a baking dish.
- Beat chia meal and both amounts of water together in a bowl; let stand until thick, about 5 minutes. Blend raw sugar and agave into chia seed mixture with high speed blender. Add vegan margarine and vanilla extract; blend.
- Mix brown rice flour, almond meal, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl. Stir cocoa powder into the flour mixture. Add chia meal mixture and stir until combined; pour into prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the top is dry and the edges have started to pull away from the sides of the pan, 45 to 55 minutes.

DECADENT GLUTEN FREE VEGAN BROWNIES
Gluten free, vegan, nut and soy free they are, but who am I fooling? They are brownies for Heaven's sake!! If the coconut milk and vegetable oil don't make your weight-loss angel's hackles rise, the corn syrup, brown sugar and carob chips might!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 8" square brownie pan.
- Sift together the flours, starch, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- in a small bowl beat together coconut milk, oil, sugar, corn syrup, stevia and vanilla.
- Pour into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the carob chips.
- Bake 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, chill overnight before cutting.

VEGAN GLUTEN FREE BROWNIES
I tried this recipe from Susan O'Brien's "The Gluten Free Vegan" The banana flavor overpowered the chocolate and they were spongy not chewy. So I am still working on adjusting this recipe. I posted it to see the nutritional information and am open to suggestions for improvement.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 Spray an 8 inch square pan with vegetable oil non stick spray.
- In large mixing bowl oil and agave nectar, add the applesauce, mashed banana. Whisk 2 TBSP warm water with 1 1/2 tsp Ener-G and add to mix.Add cocoa powder and mix to blend.
- In separate bowl sift together flours, baking soda, xanthan gum, and salt. Add to wet ingredients, blend well. Do not over beat.
- Mix in by hand vegan chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Spread evenly in greased pan.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
