Vermouth Soda Recipes
DJANGO REINHARDT (LEMON AND VERMOUTH COCKTAIL)
This low-alcohol cocktail includes dry vermouth, lemon, and simple syrup. It's an easy, quick aperitif.

Yield Makes 1 cocktail
Number Of Ingredients 4
Steps:
- Combine the vermouth, lemon juice, simple syrup, and 2 of the orange slices in a cocktail shaker and muddle to break down the orange. Add ice cubes to fill the shaker three-quarters full, cover, and shake to chill, about 15 seconds.
- Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes and strain the cocktail over the ice. Garnish with the remaining orange slice.
VERMOUTH SPRITZ
This is as easy at it sounds - almost effortless, really. Just be sure to use a vermouth you really love (I'm a fan of dark, robust, earthy Spanish ones) and keep the bottle in the fridge.

Steps:
- Fill a highball or large wine glass with ice. Add the vermouth and top up with the soda water. Garnish, if desired, with a fat wedge of lemon or orange or grapefruit, and/or a nice olive or two. Want something stronger? Add a slug of gin.

- Carpano and Soda. Ingredients: ice. 1 1/2 oz. Carpano Antica or other sweet vermouth. 3 oz. club soda or seltzer. 2 Angostura Bitters. 1 sprig mint. Directions: Fill a rocks glass with ice.
- Town & Country Cocktail. Ingredients: 2 oz Bulliet Bourbon. .5 oz Carpano Antica Formula vermouth. 1 tsp Crown Maple Syrup. 3 dashes Bar Keep apple bitters. Directions
