I prefer less filling in my waffle ice cream sandwich than more, especially since thicker ice cream filling makes it harder for my toddler to eat. When it's set, use a round cookie cutter that is waffle size to stamp out your ice cream filling OR place a waffle on top and use a knife to cut out your circle filling. Place between your two waffle layers and place back into freezer to set.3. Use a sharp knife to cut the ice cream sandwich if desired. Then, trim off any overhanging ice cream.4.
