5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake Recipes

Steps:

• Add dry ingredients to a large coffee mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
• Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

• 1. Spray your microwavable mug with a non-stick spray.
• 2. Mix these ingredients in your mug: 4 tbs. of flour, 4 tbs. of chocolate powder (I used Milo), 4 tbs. of sugar (or add more if you want to have diabetes), 1 egg, 3 tbs. of milk, 3 tbs. of oil (add semi sweet chocolate chips if you like).

• First add the flour into a mixing bowl. Next add the coco powder and sugar into the mixing bowl, and mix until the dry ingredients have combined.

• After you have taken your mugs out of the microwave, let the cool for 3 minutes. After it has cooled sift the icing sugar into a bowl and add the butter into the bowl and mix until creamy. Then add the milk and vanilla and mix.
• Now that your Buttercream is ready grab a piping bag and pour your mixture into the piping bag and pip your icing onto your cake and enjoy your less than 5 minutes cake!
