Steps:

  • Preheat a 3.5-quart air fryer to 270 degrees F. Add the eggs to the fryer basket and cook 15 minutes for hard-boiled eggs. Remove the eggs and plunge them into an ice bath. Peel when cool enough to handle.
  • For soft-boiled eggs, cook them 10 minutes. For medium-boiled eggs cook for 12 minutes.

AIR-FRYER HARD-COOKED EGGS

I tried several different methods, this is what worked best for me. I have a 3.5 qt air fryer. Time may differ in different size air fryers. I like this method because the machine turns itself off after time is done, and I don't end up with rubber eggs. Even if I'm a little bit late getting back to them, so far all of the eggs have peeled easily after a cold water bath.

  • Preheat air fryer for a few minutes at 270 deg F.
  • Place eggs in the basket and set timer for 15 minutes.
  • Once the eggs are done, transfer them to a bowl of cold water. When they are cool enough to handle, remove and peel. Or cool completely and transfer to fridge for future use.
