Steps:
- Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside. Put chopped almonds In a skillet. Cook, stirring often over medium high heat, until golden brown. Remove from heat.
- In a metal bowl over a pan of simmering water, melt chocolate chips and shortening until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 the toasted almonds. Spread onto the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining almonds, and chill 30 minutes, or until solid. Break into bite-size pieces to serve.

- Place cereal and almonds in a large bowl; set aside. In a heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until a candy thermometer reads 250° to 266° (hard-ball stage)., Remove from the heat; stir in extract. Pour over cereal mixture; mix well. Spread onto waxed paper-lined baking sheets; cool. Toss to break apart. Store in an airtight container.

- Line large rimmed cookie sheet with waxed paper. In large bowl, mix cereal, marshmallows and pretzels.
- In medium microwavable bowl, microwave candy coating uncovered on High 60 to 90 seconds, stirring after 1 minute, until almost melted. Stir until smooth. Pour onto cereal mixture; mix well.
- Spread on cookie sheet; sprinkle with holiday sprinkles, and cool completely, about 15 minutes. Break into bite-size pieces.
- In 2-quart resealable food-storage plastic bag, add coated cereal pieces and powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake to coat. Remove from bag; discard any remaining powdered sugar.
- In large serving bowl, mix coated cereal mixture and chocolate candies.

- Melt almond bark in microwave according to package.
- In large bowl, combine everything except the almond bark and M&M's.
- Mix well.
- Pour warm almond bark over mixture and gently mix.
- Add M&M's and mix again.
- Pour onto waxpaper and let harden.
- Break apart and store in an airtight container.

I'm slightly obsessed with Mounds and Almond Joy this week. I've been making tons of coconut, chocolate and almond recipes the last few days. - Melt chocolate over very low heat.
- Pour chocolate into a parchment lined 8x8 inch baking dish.
- Scatter almonds and 3 tablespoons of coconut over chocolate.
- Using a spatula spread the mixture evenly back and forth to ½ inch thickness.
- Sprinkle remaining tablespoon of coconut on top of mixture.
- Place bark in fridge for 2 hours to set.
- Break into square bars.
- Serve.

- Heat oven to 325°F. In 2-quart saucepan, melt butter over low heat; stir in oil, chili powder, curry powder, Worcestershire sauce and pepper sauce. Simmer gently 2 to 3 minutes to blend flavors.
- Add almonds; toss to coat and spread in single layer in 15x10x1-inch pan.
