MISO-TURMERIC DRESSING

Try this tossed with cooked soba noodles or drizzled over seared salmon.

Miso-Turmeric Dressing image

Steps:

  • Whisk vinegar, mirin, vegetable oil, carrot, miso, ginger, turmeric, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  • Do Ahead
  • Veggies can be made 5 days ahead. Cover and chill.

1/3 cup unseasoned rice vinegar
1/4 cup mirin
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons finely grated carrot
2 tablespoons white miso
1 tablespoon finely grated peeled ginger
2 teaspoons finely grated peeled turmeric or 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil

MISO DRESSING

Drizzle this dressing over salad greens, toss it with a noodle salad, use it to marinate tofu or brush it onto grilled fish. Store it in the refrigerator for up to a week. -Taste of Home Test Kitchen, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Asian Ginger Dressing image

Steps:

  • In a 1 pint glass jar or larger, combine the garlic, ginger, olive oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, honey, and water. Cover the jar with a tight fitting lid, and shake well. Remove lid, and heat jar in the microwave for 1 minute just to dissolve the honey. Let cool, and shake well before serving. Store covered in the refrigerator.
