- In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Set aside cheese sauce packet from dinner mix. Add shells and water to skillet. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until pasta is tender. , Stir in the salsa, beans, chili powder, salt and contents of cheese sauce packet. Remove from the heat; cover and let stand for 5 minutes.

- Heat the milk and butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the cheeses and stir until melted. Stir in the pepper, salt and seasoned salt. Drain the pasta, and stir it into the cheese sauce. Serve immediately.
BEEFY SHELLS & CHEESE DINNER
This is a nice warm skillet dinner that I originally adapted from a 'Taste Of Home' recipe cards booklet that I picked up in the checkout line at the grocery store. I say 'adapted' because I made a few minor changes (see below). *I omitted the water and cooked the macaroni separately because I was afraid that it would make it too runny. **I used red kidney beans instead because I couldn't get any black beans (the store was out).

- In a large skillet over medium high heat add the olive oil, onion and garlic. Cook 2-3 minutes until almost tender and add the ground beef. Cook and crumble the ground beef until brown. Add the flour, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper and mix. Slowly stir in beef broth and tomato sauce. Let simmer until it starts to thicken.
- Add in the cooked pasta, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese. Let the cheese melt and stir until heated throughout.
