BUD'S " DISTRACT THE NEIGHBORS " GRILLED CHICKEN
"This is a delightful, simple dish that will fill the neighborhood with a gorgeous scent". Both outdoor grilling and pan grilling directions are given in the directions. Serve with your favorite grilled chicken sides or if you want to maintain the Middle Eastern theme serve with tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, yogurt dip, Arabic bread, etc. as a suggestion. We enjoyed the chicken with these sides: yogurt dip consisting of cucumbers, rose water, salt and mint; Recipe #475009, and fresh steamed plain green beans. - Tip: I first rubbed the rosemary leaves in a pestle and mortar to release the oil and flavor. In a large non-reactive bowl (I used a gallon size "Ziploc" bag instead), combine the marinade ingredients. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and stir to coat them on all sides.
- Note: if you choose to cook the chicken on an outdoor grill, you don't have to pound the pieces first unless you want. Alternatively, the chicken pieces can be cut smaller and threaded on skewers to make shish kabobs.
- Cover well and refrigerate for a *minimum* of 3 hours. I marinated the chicken for a solid 6 hours but overnight will work, too. Turn the chicken pieces occasionally.
- To OUTDOOR GRILL: Place the chicken parts on the grill. Grill over hot charcoals for 10-15 minutes, turning frequently and basting with the marinade.
- To STOVE TOP GRILL: Heat the pan on medium-high heat. Place the chicken on the grill pan and cook on each side about five minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in the middle.
- Transfer to a platter and garnish with lemon wedges and fresh sprigs of rosemary.
- Prep time includes 3 hours required (minimum) for marinating the chicken.
BUD LIGHT CHICKEN
Spicy and very moist grilled chicken, it's absolutely yummy and spicy. I am a big fan of spices, growing up in the south and my grandmama always using the little red and green peppers in just about everything; I learned to really enjoy their flavor.

Steps:
- Light your grill, I use gas and I put it on a low setting.
- Crack open a Bud Lite and drink about half of it.
- In a sauce pan, melt butter.
- Once the butter has been melted add the Tony's, cayenne, and paprika. Allow to simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
- Add black pepper and sea salt and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Spoon about a quarter to half of the ingredients into the can of the remaining Bud Lite. If you do it too fast it will fizz all over the place and turns into a big mess. Do it slowly.
- Sit the chicken on top of the can, you are going to want to use a small round metal pan underneath the chicken. It makes for less mess later when you are cleaning your grill.
- Take the remaining portion of the sauce with the chicken out to the grill. Place your sauce to the side and place the chicken on the grill.
- Using a BBQ brush, brush the mixture all over the chicken. Just like doing a BBQ, you will brush on more and more every 15-30 minutes.
- **** Now, depending on your grill, it may take only about two hours to fully cook or it could take three hours. I have made this on a few different grills and this is about the range of time I've experienced. Don't rely on time, when it's done it's done and boy is it good!*****.
