  • In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, dressing, sour cream and blue cheese. Transfer to a 3-qt. slow cooker. Layer with chicken, wing sauce and 1 cup cheese. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours or until heated through., Sprinkle with remaining cheese and onion. Serve with tortilla chips.

Barbecued Buffalo Wing Dip With a Twist image

Steps:

  • Heat chicken, lime juice, BBQ sauce and buffalo sauce in a large saucepan.
  • Add cumin, red pepper and onion powder.
  • Once heated through, add ranch dressing and cream cheese, stirring until all is mixed well together.
  • Remove from heat and add half of shredded cheese, stirring well to incorporate.
  • Spoon mixture into a baking dish or crockpot and top with remaining shredded cheese. Serve warm (can be reheated in baking dish until bubbly or on low in a crockpot).
  • *The heat of this dish can be increased or decreased as desired- just add more buffalo sauce*.

Give the skin to your dog, and toss the bones, or you can make a small pot of chicken stock if you simmer the bones and skin on the stove for 1 hour (use just enough water so the level is 2-3 inches above the chicken bones. This kind of quick stock is great added to stir-fried vegetables or to replace water when steaming rice, for extra flavor! Waste not, want not we always say).
