Steps:

  • In a medium skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon to paper towel to drain. Discard drippings. In the same skillet, cook beef and onion until beef is no longer pink; drain. Combine bacon, beef, onion and remaining ingredients in an ungreased 2-qt. baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, fry the ground beef, bacon and onion together until ground beef is no longer pink. Drain fat.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the kidney beans, baked beans with pork and butter beans. Stir in the ketchup, white vinegar, dry mustard, brown sugar and cook beef mixture. Mix thoroughly, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour the bean and meat mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Brown beef, bacon and onion in a large skillet or dutch oven over medium heat.
  • Add beans and remaining ingredients, stirring to combine.
  • Pour into two (1 1/2- quart each) buttered baking dishes.

CALICO BEAN CASSEROLE - PLAIN.RECIPES
Brown together and drain the hamburg, bacon and onion. Mix together in a large casserole with the pork and beans, lima or butter beans, kidney beans, catsup, salt, brown sugar, vinegar and dry mustard. After all ingredients are mixed together in a large casserole, bake 40 minutes at 350°. Very good when reheated, too.

1 tsp. mustard. 1 can pork and beans. 1 can Lima beans, drained. 1 can kidney beans, drained. Brown meat, bacon bits and onions in skillet. Drain off excess grease. Add ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, salt and mustard. Add beans. Mix well and bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.
