Christmas Tree Appetizers Recipes

Steps:

• In bowl, combine well the first 6 ingredients.
• Place on plate and with hands shape into an 8" tall cone-shape.
• Press chopped parsley on "tree" all over to make it green.
• With small star-shaped cookie cutter, cut approximately 1" stars out of slices of cheese. (You can make some of them bells or circles if you want.).
• Stick about 40-50 or so toothpicks halfway (or a little more)all over evenly spaced into tree.
• Stick "decorations"(cheese stars, cherry tomato halves round side out, and olives) onto toothpicks.
• Drape lemon peel around tree, spiraling downward, to resemble garland.
• Cut a larger cheese star for top of tree.
• Place assorted crackers in stacks around base of tree for "presents".

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 375°. On an ungreased baking sheet, unroll one tube of crescent dough and press into a 13x8-in. rectangle. Prick with a fork; sprinkle with 3/4 teaspoon taco seasoning. Repeat with remaining dough and seasoning., Bake until golden brown, 10-12 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely. , Cut each rectangle crosswise to make 4 strips (about 8x4-in.). For trees, cut each strip into 5 triangles, reserving scraps at each end for another use. For trunks, insert a pretzel piece into the base of each triangle., Beat cream cheese and guacamole until smooth; spread over trees. Halve and seed peppers. Cut 40 stars from yellow peppers using a 3/4-in. star-shaped cookie cutter. Dice and julienne remaining peppers for tree decorations. Decorate trees with pepper pieces and, if desired, cilantro. Refrigerate until serving.

Steps:

• Cover tree with lettuce leaves using toothpicks to hold lettuce in place. Cover entire tree with lettuce leaves.
• Place star on top - Kraft has cheese cut into star shapes that is very nice or you could glue a very small angel about 1 inch in size on top. Before you start using Elmer's glue, let dry overnight.
• Cut small pieces of cheese and with toothpick arrange all over tree leaving spaces in between for olives and pickles. Cut in small slices- red pimento pieces very small slices of celery filled with peanut butter. Use toothpicks to hold appetizers on tree. Also if you want, use a slice of pickle with a slice of cheese together and arrange all over tree. I sometimes use small shrimp in between pickles and olives and cheese.
• You can use small pieces of anything you want. The red pieces of pimento and the red inside of the olives show up like Christmas ornaments and makes the tree very pretty.

Steps:

• Cover the bottom of a 13X9X2-inch glass dish with dressing.
• Arrange broccoli in a tree shape,
• Make trunk from broccoli stem or (using 1 1/2 large pretzel sticks cut in half arranged next to one another)
• Place cauliflower around tree.
• Add tomatoes and carrot slices as ornaments.
