- Beat the egg yolks into the cola drink.
- Add salt to the flour; stir in the cola and egg and beat well.
- Add the melted butter.
- Fold in egg whites. Add more cola if needed to make a very thin batter. The secret of good pancakes is thin batter (not over 1/8 inch thick).
- Cook on hot griddle, turning only once.

- For the cake: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a bundt pan with cooking spray.
- Bring the cola to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat and reduce down to about 1 1/4 cups, about 12 minutes. Reserve 1/4 cup in a separate bowl. Add the butter and oil to the remaining cola in the pan and cook over medium-low heat until the butter is melted. Add the granulated sugar and stir until it is mostly dissolved. Take off the heat and let cool, then whisk in the sour cream, vanilla and eggs.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Add the cola mixture and whisk until incorporated. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean, about 1 hour 10 minutes. Let the cake cool in the pan for 5 minutes.
- Set a cooling rack over a parchment-lined baking pan. Invert the cake onto the rack. Poke the cake all over with a wooden skewer, then spoon the reserved cola reduction all over the cake. Let cool completely.
- For the glaze: Combine the butter, cocoa powder and 2 tablespoons of the cola in a medium saucpan and cook on medium low until the butter is melted. Stir to combine, then stir in the confectioners' sugar until incorporated. Add the additional cola, about a half tablespoon at a time, until the mixture is a thick drizzling consistency.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cake.
CHOCOLATE PANCAKES

- Whisk flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt together in a large bowl. Beat eggs, milk, and vanilla in another bowl; mix in the melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry, and mix just until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or skillet over medium-high heat. For each pancake, pour 1/4 cup batter on griddle and cook until bubbles pop in the center of the pancake, about 2 to 3 minutes. Flip, and cook an additional minute on the opposite side.

- In a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Combine the milk, egg substitute and butter; add to dry ingredients just until moistened., Pour batter by scant 1/4 cupfuls onto a hot griddle coated with cooking spray; turn when bubbles form on top. - Combine saltine crumbs, 1/4 cup cola, 3 tablespoons salad dressing, egg, Parmesan cheese and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Add beef; mix well. Shape into six 3/4-in.-thick patties (the mixture will be moist); sprinkle with remaining salt. Combine remaining 1/4 cup cola and 3 tablespoons salad dressing., Grill patties, covered, over medium heat 3 minutes per side. Brush with cola mixture. Grill, brushing and turning occasionally, until a thermometer reads 160°, 3-4 minutes longer. Serve on buns; if desired, top with lettuce, tomato and onion.

COLA BEANS
This is a favorite at potlucks and barbeques! I've often wondered if I get invited for my company or my Cola Beans! I've tried several different brands of colas, but have found that Coke® works best. I like to pre-cook the bacon about half-way so it doesn't make the beans too greasy, but it's not necessary. This recipe can also be baked in a conventional oven at 350 degrees F for about 1 hour.
