COWBOY OATMEAL COOKIES
It's a great cookie, one of the kids' favorites. This doesn't call for nuts, but I sometimes add about 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans.

CAPE COD OATMEAL COOKIES
This recipe has been in my family for many, many years. My late mother heard this recipe given out on the radio one day years and years ago and she made them. They are delicious and I am forwarding the recipe to you because I am afraid it may otherwise become lost over time and I wish to share it with you.

CHEWY OATMEAL COOKIES WITH COCONUT
When our family gathered at my aunt's summer home on Mackinac Island a few years back, she pulled out her tried-and-true recipe and made these wholesome cookies. I think of her and that memorable vacation every time I make these for my own family.

LEMON OATMEAL SUGAR COOKIES
This is an especially fun recipe to make with kids because they can roll the dough into balls and flatten them on the baking sheets. The lemon and oatmeal add a nice twist to traditional sugar cookies. -Susan Marshall, Colorado Springs, Colorado

HEALTHIER OATMEAL COOKIES
I have been searching for a healthier cookie treat for my girls. I experimented with other recipes and used whole wheat flour and coconut oil in place of white flour and butter or vegetable oils. The result is a yummy, chewy treat for your family!
