CROCK POT EGGNOG LATTES

Warm, rich and caffeinated - the perfect coffee drink for the holidays. Eggnog lattes just like Starbucks, but made at home right in your slow cooker.

Steps:

  • Add all ingredients to a 2.5-quart or larger Crock Pot.
  • Cook on low for two hours, stirring occasionally, until piping hot.
  • Reduce heat to warm setting to keep hot all day.

2 cups coffee (brewed triple strength)
3 cups eggnog
1 cup milk
1/4 cup [url href="https://www.kitchentreaty.com/how-to-make-vanilla-sugar/"]vanilla sugar[/url] or regular granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg plus additional for topping the drink (if desired)

Steps:

  • Pour milk and eggnog into a steaming pitcher and heat to between 145 degrees F to 165 degrees F (65 to 70 degrees C) using the steaming wand. Brew the shot of espresso, then add to mug. Pour the steamed milk and eggnog into the mug, using a spoon to hold back the foam. Spoon foam over the top. Sprinkle nutmeg on top of the foam.

Brewing up decadent vanilla lattes couldn't be any easier. Perfect for busy weekends and holiday mornings!

Crock Pot Vanilla Latte image

Steps:

  • Add milk, coffee, and vanilla coffee syrup to a 2 quart or larger Crock Pot. Stir.
  • Cook on high for two hours or until heated through. Make sure it doesn't boil! You may also heat it on low, but it will take a little longer to heat up. Turn Crock Pot to warm setting to keep latte warm for 2 - 3 hours. You can use low to keep it warm if your slow cooker doesn't have a warm setting, but keep an eye on it. Stir occasionally to make sure it doesn't scald.
  • Scoop by the ladleful into individual mugs. Top with whipped cream if desired. Serve.

1/2 cup Vanilla Coffee Syrup
Whipped cream (optional)
