CROCK POT ROAST PORK
I've made this recipe for years. It's easy to make and smells great while it's cooking. I serve it with applesauce, sweet potatoes and a green veggie. There are never any leftovers.

Steps:
- Rub pork roast with salt and pepper.
- Cut 10 slits on top of pork roast and insert sliced garlic into slits.
- Broil pork roast for about 5 minutes.
- Slice onion and put in crockpot.
- Place pork roast on top of onion and add cloves, bay leaves, water and soy sauce to crockpot.
- Cook on high 5-6 hours or low 10-12 hours.
CROCK POT PORK ROAST WITH GARLIC
I adapted this recipe from the cookbook that came with my crock-pot. Your house will smell wonderful as it cooks! Serve with a green veggie and potatoes.

Steps:
- Place roast in crock pot. Cover with olive oil and roll to coat.
- Sprinkle with pepper, lemon zest and rosemary.
- Pour the wine and chicken stock in next to the roast. Add the garlic to the broth and tuck the lemon slices around the roast.
- Put the lid on and set to cook for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
- Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.

GARLIC PORK ROAST (FOR THE SLOW COOKER)
We have this on a regular basis because the local grocery often run sales on pork. Takes about 15 minutes in the morning and dinner is ready when you get home. House smells good when you walk in too!

- In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until hot. Place pork roast in skillet and cook until just browned on all sides.
- Transfer pork to 5 to 6 quart slow-cooker pot, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add broth, onion, garlic, lemon peel, potatoes and carrots to pot. Sprinkle with thyme.
- Cover slow cooker with lid and cook pork and vegetables on the low setting 7 to 8 hours or until pork and vegetables are tender. Skim any fat from broth. Serve pork with vegetables and broth.

CROCK POT PORK ROAST
This is my own recipe. I wanted a pork roast that would fall apart with an apricot flavor so I came up with this very simple recipe that you can put in the crock pot at noon and it'll be ready when you get home from work with just a little finish prep work. We eat this will rolls and a salad.

Steps:
- Microwave water and bouillon cubes together until cubes have dissolved. Turn Crock pot onto high. Place pork roast into bottom of crock pot and add bouillon water over top.
- Place peeled and cut carrots into the bouillon in the crock pot, cover and cook for 4 to 5 hours. 1/2 hour to 1 hour before you are ready to eat add the jar of apricot jelly over the pork roast, cover and continue to cook.
- Serve with rolls and a salad.
- The apricot flavoring makes the carrots more like a dessert than a vegetable.
