Cucumber Strawberry Limeade Recipes
CUCUMBER STRAWBERRY LIMEADE
Since I tried cucumber juice I have been a fan. And I recently tried a cucumber lemonade that was very good! For me I am more of a limeade fan. So I came up with this refreshing drink. Very refreshing!!! Add a splash of club soda or lemon lime soda and you have a great spritzer!

Steps:
- 1. Combine all ingredients in blender except water and blend till cucumbers and strawberries are smooth. Pour through medium mesh sieve into pitcher. Add cold water, stir. Pour into glasses with ice and garnish with strawberries limes or cucumbers.
- 2. Add a splash of soda for a great spritzer! Champagne or sparkling wine for a tastey cocktail!

- For the best possible flavor, use freshly squeezed lime juice, not bottled lime juice. I use a citrus juicer to extract as much juice as possible from limes.
- There is a lot of flavor in the lime peel, so use a vegetable peeler to get as many long strips to be added to the limeade.
- Use a potato masher to mash everything together well. Everything should be fairly easy to mash together except the cucumbers, but that;s ok not to mash them up completely. You just want them to release as much flavor and juice as possible.

- Cut cucumber into chunks. Add chunks to a medium sauce pan and add sugar and water. Place over medium heat and stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat.
- Add cucumber to blender and blend until pureed. Place in fridge to steep for 1 hour. When syrup is steeped, strain out cucumber pulp so that all that remains is the cucumber syrup. Add syrup to a medium pitcher.
- Place strawberries in a blender, cover, and blend until smooth. Strain strawberries through mesh strainer to remove excess pulp and seeds. Add to the pitcher with the cucumber syrup. Add lime juice and water. Stir to combine. Add cucumber slices and strawberry halves for garnish.
- Fill serving cups halfway with ice. Pour limeade into glasses with a few pieces of strawberry and cucumber slices. Serve with a straw and enjoy!
