CHEESY CRAB APPETIZER
This is a great little appetizer that can be made ahead of time and frozen. When guests arrive, just pop them in the microwave to reheat. Everyone loves them and they are so easy.

Steps:
- Mix together the first 5 ingredients.
- Slice muffins in half horizontal.
- Spread each muffin half with the cheeze/crab mixture.
- Place under broiler and brown (WATCH CAREFULLY SO IT DOESN'T BURN).
- Cut each muffin half into quarters when cool enough to handle.
- (I keep a bag of these in the freezer for when unexpected guests show up. Just broil as instructed above, place on a cookie sheet to freeze, then transfer to freezer bags. When guests arrive, place in microwave to heat up and then serve).

Steps:
- Mix Cheez Whiz, Margarine and Crab Meat in a bowl.
- Cut your english muffins in half.
- Spread the mixture onto the English muffins, like you would thick butter.
- Toast them on Broil until lightly brown.
- Remove and cut each half muffin into 4 pieces.
- Enjoy!

CHEDDAR CHEESE CRAB BAKE
This recipe was altered by me and originated from Todd Wilbur's Top Secret Recipe Book (I have every one of his books). He also has a website (check it out!). I was looking for a copycat recipe for R. Lobster's Cheddar Cheese biscuits and came upon this variation...which I personally like more than the biscuit recipe I was trying to locate. You can make biscuits with this, but I spread the mixture out to be more like a pizza and it saved me time and was more fun to eat. I think these would also make really neat appetizers if you used small spoons of the dough on the baking sheet...but you would have to adjust cooking time. I will be making this recipe over and over because it was so easy and tasted like I fussed all night! You will find my recipe long, but that's because my directions are thorough...the prep time/work time for this recipe is only 10 minutes...though that may be because I make it often!

Steps:
- Wash your hands well (you will be mixing dough with them).
- Preheat oven to 450.
- Spray pizza baking sheet or jelly roll/baking sheet with non stick spray in a 8 inch circle in center of sheet.
- Cut 2 TB of butter off of stick, then 1 TB off of stick.
- Melt 1 TB of butter in microwave for a few seconds (be careful when you take it out not to burn yourself).
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine Bisquick or baking mix, 1 cup of the cheddar cheese, milk and 1TB of the melted butter.
- Mix with your hand until well combined.
- Dough will form a sticky thick glob and mixture should not be dry or crumbly at all- Scrape excess off of hand and pat into ball- Pick up dough ball and put it into center of your sprayed circle on your baking sheet- Add any dough from bowl that you can scrape up.
- Spread dough into a pizza shape about 8 inches in diameter, forming a lip around edge like a pizza- To do this, I just started from the center and kept mashing out towards the edges- The lip naturally formed for me this way- If your dough isn't round in shape, then shape it like you would playdough.
- Wash your hands and dry well.
- Take parsley flakes and, pinching them between your fingers make sure they are finely ground.
- After grinding them well, sprinkle them on top of your dough.
- Sprinkle the crabmeat on top of the parsley flakes.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the crabmeat.
- Remember not to go all the way to the edge of your"pizza" with your cheese.
- Bake for approx 15 minutes on center rack or until the cheese browns slightly.
- While Bread is baking, melt the other 2 TB of Butter and combine with the garlic powder.
- When bread is finished, take out of oven and immediately brush entire surface with the melted butter/garlic powder.
- Put back in oven for 1 more minute.
- Take out of oven and slice into 8 pieces with pizza cutter and serve hot.

EASY CRAB PUFFS
Easy crab and cream cheese filling for these cream puff pastries make a impressive appetizer for any occasion.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Combine water and butter in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and add flour; stir to form a ball. Remove from the heat and add eggs all at once; stir until smooth.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven until puffs are a nice golden brown and hollow sounding, 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool.
- Meanwhile, mix cream cheese, sour cream, celery, onion, garlic powder, and soy sauce until smooth. Mix in crab.
- Fill cooled puff pastries with crab mixture.

- In a large bowl, combine the cheese spread, Miracle Whip, lemon juice, white part of onion and crabmeat. Remove crescent rolls from tube; do not unroll. , Cut each section into 12 slices. Place slices on ungreased baking sheet. Divide crab mixture over 24 crescent roll slices. Sprinkle with green onion tops and paprika. , Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes or until puffed and lightly browned on bottom. Serve immediately.

- In a bowl, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and butter. Press onto the bottom of a 10-in. springform pan; set aside. In a skillet, saute peppers and onion in butter until tender; set aside., In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs; beat on low speed just until combined. Stir in the cream, crab, Swiss cheese, pepper mixture and salt. Pour over crust. , Place pan on a baking sheet. Bake at 325° for 60-65 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Carefully run a knife around edge of pan to loosen. Cool for 1 hour longer. Refrigerate overnight. , Remove sides of pan. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.

- Combine mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice and crabmeat.

CRAB CAKE BITES

- Heat oven to 400°F. Line large cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.
- In medium bowl, stir together 1/2 cup mayonnaise, the egg, chives, Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, seafood seasoning and 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
