FLUFFY FRUIT DIP
This is a delicious fluffy orange flavored dip for skewered fruit. It is equally good spooned over cubes of fruit and served as a first course or dessert. Orange juice may be substituted for the liqueur.

FLUFFY FRUIT DIP
The recipe for this fruit dip was found in the 2009 cookbook, Touch of Home's Best Holiday Recipes. Preparation time does not include the time needed for the dip to cool & chill.

Steps:
- In a small saucepan, combine the sugar & flour, then gradually whisk in the pineapple juice.
- Add the butter, then cook & stir until butter is melted & mixture comes to a boil.
- Cook & stir for 1 to 2 minutes or until thickened.
- Remove from heat & quickly stir a small amount of this hot mixture into the lightly beaten egg, before returning all of this mixture to the pan, stirring constantly.
- Bring to a gentle boil, then cook & stir for 1 minute.
- Remove from the heat & cool to room temperature, stirring several times.
- Fold in the whipped cream, then cover & refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving with sliced fruit.

PINK FLUFF FRUIT DIP
Oh so pretty in pink, but may be tinted blue--or any color you wish!!! Great for baby showers, luncheons, pool or beach parties, luaus, etc. I like to serve the bowl of dip nestled in a bed of ice, alongside a carved watermelon-half filled with fresh pineapple chunks, melon balls, strawberries and grapes. From my son's friend Cindy G., who got the recipe from a caterer in upstate NY. Enjoy!

This recipe has been making its rounds between my family and friends, so I have no idea where it came from, but doggone it, its good! It is best served with strawberries.
