Steps:
- Blend cottage cheese, and lime jello together, then fold in Cool Whip until well mixed.
- Fold in the 1 cup of mini marshmallows. (I use about 3/4 cup).
- Drain fruit and fold into mixture last.
- Refrigerate overnight for best flavor.

MODIFIED GREEN STUFF - JELLO SALAD
This is based on Recipe #340422 340422. However, I didn't have a banana or Cool Whip, so it came out differently. I made it for Thanksgiving 2013 while DH is on a Zero Fat diet. I should have left out the coconut. Cooking time is minimum chilling time.

Steps:
- Pour boiling water over gelatin & marshmallows. Stir until marshmellows are mostly melted. Add crushed pineapple.
- Chill until partially congealed. Fold in cottage cheese. Feel free to mix it a couple of times to get the consistency you want. Mine had a tendency for the solution to separate, so I beat it pretty well at the end with a wooden spoon.

- In a large multi-cup measuring cup (I use my 4 cup Pyrex), add all of the reserved pineapple juice and then add enough water to the juice to make a total of 2 cups. Pour into pot and bring just to a boil.
- Add the lime Jell-o mixes to the boiling pineapple juice/water and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat, allow to cool just slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, stir together the mayo and evaporated milk. Combine until very smooth. Slowly stir in the Jell-o mixture until all is incorporated with the mayo/milk mixture. Stir in the crushed pineapple, cottage cheese, and walnuts.
- Pour mixture into an 8×8″ glass casserole pan. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight (preferred).
