CHILI CHEESE CASSEROLE RECIPE BY TASTY
Here's what you need: bean chili, tomato sauce, tortillas, shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:
- In a bowl, add the chili and tomato sauce and stir to combine.
- Add a layer of the chili mixture to the bottom of a 9x9-inch (23x23-cm) baking pan. Top with a layer of tortillas, a layer of chili, and sprinkle with cheese.
- Repeat until all ingredients are used, making sure the top layer is cheese.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, up to overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350˚F (180˚C).
- Remove the casserole from the refrigerator and let sit for 10 minutes on your counter.
- Poke three toothpicks in the casserole, and cover with tin foil, so that the foil doesn't touch the cheese layer.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
- Cut and serve.
- Enjoy!

- Prepare cornbread batter according to package directions. Spread half the batter into a greased 8-in. square baking dish; set aside. , In a large skillet, saute the green pepper, onion and celery in oil until crisp-tender. Stir in hot dogs; saute until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes longer. Stir in the chili, brown sugar, garlic powder and chili powder; heat through. - 1. Preheat oven to 400'
- 2. Brown hot dogs in skillet add onion and cook just until onions are clear.I like to lay out my tortilla's on the counter and place hot dogs, some onions and a little cheese in each one.Reserve at least half of cheese. Roll up hot dogs in tortilla's and place in rows in a 13 x9 pan! I put toothpicks in mine to keep it rolled up.
- 3. Pour both cans of chili on top and sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake for about 25min or until cheese and chili are bubbling! Enjoy!

- Peel and cut the onions in half and then quarter the halves. Slice the quarters in food processor fitted with slicing disc.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt 1/4 cup butter in a large skillet and saute onions over medium heat until tender.
- Place half the onion mixture into a 1 1/2-quart oven-proof casserole.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of Swiss cheese and 1/2 cup cracker crumbs over onions. Repeat layers of onions and cheese.
- Beat eggs with the half-and-half, salt and pepper. Pour evenly over layered contents of casserole.
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter in skillet and stir in remaining cracker crumbs. Lightly brown over medium heat. Sprinkle browned crumbs over casserole.

- Prepare 1/2 recipe of Howard's South Texas Chile per directions.Take a 14 inch Dutch Oven and spoon some of the chili into the bottom of the Dutch. About 1/2 inch will do. Take your tortilla strips and cover the chili with your strips all running the same direction. Next, add another layer of tortilla strips running at right angles to the first layer. Now, place a layer of onion slices over the chili then add a layer of cheese slices.Repeat the process till you've used all the onion slices and velveeta cheese. Bake in the Dutch for about 30 - 40 minutes with 14 - 16 briquets underneath and about an equal number on top.
