  • Combine the Irish whiskey, hazelnut liqueur and Irish cream liqueur in a rocks glass filled with ice.

1 ounce Irish whiskey
1/2 ounce hazelnut liqueur, such as Frangelico
1/2 ounce Irish cream liqueur, such as Baileys

Pony glass is called for this layered shot. It is a small stemmed glass with a rounded bottom and fluted top, they hold about the same amount of liquid as a shot glass

Steps:

  • Layer in a pony glass or shot glass in the order given.
  • The secret is to pour slowly, barely dribble the liqueurs into your glass.
  • Start with your first liqueur and pour it into your glass, now take your spoon and place the tip of the spoon very close to your first liqueur, now carefully and slowly pour in your second liqueur over the back of the spoon and into the glass, then your third.

3/4 ounce peppermint schnapps
3/4 ounce irish cream

CHERRY BOMB (SHOT)

This is my absolute favorite shot. I sometimes have it as a drink. Just pour the shot into a ice filled glass and fill remainder of glass with red bull.

PINK PUSSY CAT (LAYERED SHOT)

This is a very naughty drink. It tastes like strawberry ice cream chupa chups to me! (Lolly pops, not as popular in America as Australia and the UK. They are DELISH tho, even adults love them cause they taste like real ice cream and or fruit.) Be very careful gals and guys, cause they aren't very strong, but they go down VERY well. Quite sweet.

  • Pour half shot Chambord first, then slowly pour half shot Midori over the back of a spoon into glass.

  • Okay, I just made this drink. It is a bit to strong for my taste. I think it must be the Midori, as I love Chambord. So if you don't like your drinks strong (like me) you might want to try another recipe.

BANANA SPLIT (LAYERED SHOT)

After playing around making several layered shots using Amarula, I decided to make one that I thought would be pretty and certainly taste good! It is a 5 layer banana split and it is yummy! It just seems like Amarula makes everything taste so good! If you have never tried it... I would suggest getting a bottle!
