Steps:
- Mix yeast, warm water, and white sugar together in a large bowl. Set aside for five minutes, or until mixture becomes foamy.
- Stir olive oil, salt, herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, cheese, and 3 cups flour into the yeast mixture. Gradually mix in the next three cups of flour. Dough will be stiff.
- Knead dough for 5 to 10 minutes, or until it is smooth and rubbery. Place in an oiled bowl, and turn to cover the surface of the dough with oil. Cover with a damp linen dish towel. Allow to rise for one hour, or until the dough has doubled in size.
- Punch dough down to release all the air. Shape into two loaves. Place loaves on a greased cookie sheet, or into two greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pans. Allow to rise until doubled in size, about a 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 minutes. Remove loaves from pan(s), and let cool on wire racks for at least 15 minutes before slicing.

ITALIAN SEASONED BREAD
This bread is incredible. It is by far the best non-knead bread I've ever eaten. Serve it with any homemade soup, or with chicken cacciatore.

ITALIAN SEASONED BREAD
"When I didn't have the onion soup mix called for in the original recipe, I used Italian salad dressing mix instead," writes Jill Dickinson of Aurora, Minnesota. "Now this mildly seasoned bread is my family's favorite."

ITALIAN PARMESAN BREAD FOR BREAD MACHINE
I've been making this bread for years without measuring, and finally decided to write it down. My most requested bread from my bread-lovin' son. Makes the house smell divine!! You can easily increase the amounts of seasonings to your taste. (NOTE: Many people seem to be needing to add extra water, so I'm adding an adjustment to the recipe.)

2-SECOND ITALIAN BREAD OLIVE OIL DIP
Know how at some Italian restaurants they give you the option of both butter and a dish with herbed olive when they bring out the bread? I found that I actually prefer the olive oil dip to butter in terms of both taste and ease to use; I don't have to wait for olive oil to melt! Plus, olive oil is monounsaturated fat that's better for you while butter is saturated fat that isn't. I use Recipe #391627, feel free to use another mix or storebought seasoning-- tastes just like the kind in restaurants to enjoy with focaccia or crusty Italian bread.

ITALIAN SEASONING II
Better than already prepared types because you can make it to your taste. I use the bulk baggie spices in the Mexican food aisle, they're so much less expensive and taste great!

- In a large bowl, combine the flour, white sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Stir well to combine dry ingredients and then make a well in the center. Pour the warm water into the well and add the butter and egg. Stir well to combine and form a soft dough.
- Knead the dough by hand until it appears elastic and forms a soft well ball that pulls away from the sides of the bowl, adding up to one cup more flour as needed. (Note: This is a stickier dough - it will not form the same cohesive ball as a harder, proofed dough. Avoid the temptation to add more than 3 cups of flour.)
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and a clean kitchen towel and place in a warm area of your kitchen to rise for 2 hours.
- Once the dough has risen, grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Punch down the dough and form the dough into a log. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
