Leftover Candy Bundt Cake Recipes
LEFTOVER CANDY BUNDT CAKE
Use up any leftover candy that you have lying around (like from Halloween, Valentines Day, Christmas whatever) as long as it is chocolate based....(ex: M & M's, Snickers, Hershey bars, 3 Muskateers, Whoppers, leftover chocolate Easter Bunnies :) just use whatever you have.. Enjoy

Steps:
- Spray bundt pan with cooking spray and dust with flour. Preheat oven to 350.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt, set aside.
- Cream room temperature butter & sugar mixing well with electric mixer. Add eggs, mix well. Add vanilla & milk mix. Add dry ingredients mixing until just incorporated (do not over mix). In same bowl as dry ingredients place candy, sprinkle with 2 Tbls. flour coating candy pieces with flour (so they don't sink to the bottom of the cake). Fold into batter mixing not too much (mixture will be thick). Spoon into prepared bundt pan evening filling out. Bake for around 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted into middle of cake comes out clean. Let sit for 1-2 minutes then invert onto serving platter.
- Let cake cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or make a quick glaze of powdered sugar & a little water and spoon over cake. Enjoy

- Make cake: Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter and flour a 10-cup nonstick Bundt pan. Sift 3 cups flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. In a separate bowl, toss candies with remaining 1/2 cup flour.
- Using an electric mixer on medium-high speed, beat butter and sugar until light, 3 minutes. Add yolks one at a time. Beat in vanilla. Beat in 1/3 of flour mixture, followed by 1/2 of milk. Repeat, ending with flour mixture. Do not overmix.
- In a clean, dry bowl using dry beaters, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form. Stir candies and 1/3 of egg whites into batter. Fold in remaining whites. Spoon batter into Bundt pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean, 50 to 60 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then unmold cake.
- Make icing: Place chocolate in a bowl. Warm cream in a pan over medium heat until just boiling. Pour over chocolate, let stand for 1 minute, then whisk until smooth. Let cool slightly. Pour icing over cake, allowing excess to drip over sides.

- Melt candy bars and 1/2 cup butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently. Once completely melted, remove from heat and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the sugar and 1/2 cup of softened butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs, mix well.
- Add the salt and baking soda to the buttermilk and then add to the butter/sugar mixture. Add the flour and mix until well combined. Add the melted candy bars and vanilla and then pour into a well greased bundt pan and bake for 65 minutes at 350.
- Make sure that the center is done and then cool the cake completely before inverting onto a serving plate.
