EASY SHEET-PAN MEATBALLS

No-mess meatballs! Just pat the meat mixture in a pan and bake and they're ready in 35 minutes. Keep some on hand in the freezer for a variety of recipes.

Easy Sheet-Pan Meatballs image

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 425°F. Line 15x10x1-inch baking pan with foil; spray foil with nonstick cooking spray. In large bowl, beat egg. Stir in all remaining ingredients.
  • In sprayed foil-lined pan, shape beef mixture into 8-inch square. Cut into 25 squares; do not separate.
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until meatballs are thoroughly cooked and no longer pink in center. With sharp knife, cut apart meatballs.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F. Line 13x9-inch pan with foil; spray with cooking spray.
  • In large bowl, mix all ingredients. Shape mixture into 24 (1 1/2-inch) meatballs. Place 1 inch apart in pan.
  • Bake uncovered 18 to 22 minutes or until temperature reaches 160°F and no longer pink in center.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Line a 15x10x1” baking pan with foil; spray the foil with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl beat eggs, stir in remaining ingredients making sure to mix well.
  • Shape beef mixture into the baking pan.
  • Cut into squares; do not separate.
  • Bake 425 for 20 – 25 minutes or until meatballs are thoroughly cooked and no longer pink.
  • Cut apart and ta-da you have meat squares without the muss and fuss!
  • These may be frozen for use at a later time.

MEATBALLS WITH ANY MEAT

Making great meatballs is all about memorizing a basic ratio that you can adjust to suit your taste. Start with a pound of ground meat - any kind will work, even fish if you want to take it in that direction. Add 1/2 cup bread crumbs for lightness, a teaspoon of salt, and an egg to bind it together.
