Meltaway Brownies image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Melt together butter and chocolate in a small saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat.
  • Add and stir in brown sugar; cool slightly. Add water, egg yolk and vanilla; beat well. Stir in flour and salt. Set aside.
  • Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, using an electric mixer at high speed. Fold egg whites into chocolate mixture, then fold in chopped nuts.
  • Pour into greased 9 inch square pan. Bake for 35 minutes or until set around the edges. Cool a few minutes and remove from pan. Cool on rack.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine Melt® and cocoa, blending with a spoon until smooth. Add baking powder and sugar, stirring until slightly mixed. Add flour and eggs; stir until completely integrated.
  • Pour into a 9 x 13 baking pan, lightly coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle chocolate chips (and/or nuts) over top of brownie mixture.
  • Bake in for 25-30 minutes, or until done. Cool, cut into squares, and enjoy!

  • Remove from heat and wait for a few minutes to cool down. Then add the eggs and whisk to combine. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add them to the mixture. Whisk until fully combined.
  • Transfer mixture to the pan and bake for 25 – 30 minute or until center no more jiggly and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few crumbs.
