NANA'S SUGAR CREAM PIE
Delicious, rich and creamy pie from the kitchen of my grandmother. She always made the best foods. Our family enjoy this pie every Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Steps:
- Mix sugar, flour and salt together.
- Add cream, milk and vanilla.
- Pour mixture into a 9 inch unbaked pie shell; sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with butter.
- Bake in 425 F oven for 10 mins; reduce heat to 350 F and bake for 1 hr 15 mins.

NANA'S ITALIAN HOLIDAY CREAM CAKE
A delicious holiday cake that all will enjoy! Looks beautiful. Sprinkle top with chopped nuts.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour three 9-inch baking pans.
- Beat 1/2 cup margarine and shortening in a bowl with an electric mixer until creamy. Beat in sugar. Beat in egg yolks until smooth.
- Combine flour and baking soda in a bowl. Add to the margarine mixture in batches, alternating with buttermilk, until batter is smooth. Mix in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract; add pecans and coconut.
- Beat egg whites with clean beaters in a glass, metal, or ceramic bowl until stiff peaks form. Fold into the batter. Pour into prepared pans.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes; invert onto a cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
- Beat cream cheese and 1/4 cup margarine in a bowl until smooth; stir in confectioners' sugar. Beat in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until frosting is combined.
- Spread frosting onto the cooled cake layers. Stack cakes; frost top and sides.

NANA'S PEACH PARFAIT PIE
This peach parfait pie has always been a family favorite and is great on a warm summer day!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Spread oats on a cookie sheet.
- Toast in the preheated oven for 5 minutes. Add almonds to the oats and continue to toast for 5 minutes more. Remove from the oven and transfer to a bowl.
- Stir brown sugar and melted butter into the oat mixture. Press mixture onto the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Chill while preparing filling.
- Bring orange juice to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat. Sprinkle in gelatin slowly while stirring with a whisk until fully dissolved. Add ice cream and stir until melted and mixture is smooth. Fold in peaches and add almond extract. Pour into the chilled crust. Chill for at least 3 hours before serving.

NANA'S RITZ CRACKER PIE (WITH WALNUTS)
Sounds strange, but tastes great! This is my mother-in-laws recipe and my husband insisted I share it with you! Make sure you serve it with whipped cream on top!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Prepare an 8" pie pan with cooking spray (Pam).
- In a gallon size ziplock bag, crush the 21 Ritz Crackers until almost powder-like.
- Add the finely chopped walnuts and 1 teaspoon baking powder.
- Toss with a fork and set aside.
- In a stand mixer or medium bowl using a hand mixer, beat the 3 egg whites until fluffy.
- Slowly add 1 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until stiff and glossy in appearance.
- Fold the crackers/nuts into the egg whites and pour into the pie pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely in refridgerator and top with whipped topping before serving. (Optional- add chocolate shavings on top). Enjoy!
