SPICY ORANGE PAPRIKA GRILLED CHICKEN

As I cleaning out boxes of cut out recipes I came across this one. I think its a Canadian Living one but no idea what year. I put mine in the oven to cook.

Spicy Orange Paprika Grilled Chicken image

Steps:

  • Place chicken in shallow dish.
  • In a separate bowl whisk the rest of the ingredients and brush over the chicken.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 10 min or up to 24 hours.
  • Brush BBQ with some oil.
  • Place chicken with bone down, close top of grill, turning once about 45 minutes later.
  • Transfer to cutting board and let stand 10 minute before cutting.

3 lbs chicken, cut in half
1 tablespoon grated orange rind
1 tablespoon orange juice
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon liquid honey
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground ginger
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced

SMOKED PAPRIKA SALT

Extra-fine-grained popcorn salt has about the same consistency as powdery smoked paprika. The two blend beautifully together and adhere especially well to hot popcorn and French fries.

  • COMBINE equal amounts of popcorn salt and smoked paprika in a small jar or shaker. Keep handy to sprinkle on popcorn and vegetables.

Farro Flavored With Orange and Smoked Paprika image

Steps:

  • In a medium high heat pot stove top or a rice cooker set on add oil when hot add onions, peppers, and garlic stirring for 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients.
  • Cook stove top 20-30 minutes. Cooking in ricer cook according to directions.
  • When done stir and fluff.
  • Enjoy garnished with an orange slice.
