OUR FAMILY'S FAVORITE MEAT LOAF
This is the good ol' meat loaf I grew up with. I didn't think there was any other kind for years. I was kind of shocked when my mother admitted that she got the recipe from the Quaker Oats box. But who cares? It's easy and it's GOOD! I believe she often served it with baked beans on the side.

MY FAMILY'S FAVORITE MEATLOAF
This meatloaf has been my creation since I was 12 years old and started cooking. I typically just throw it together without mixing and my family always enjoys it more than any others I've tried. (Except my son, who thoroughly enjoys Hawaiian meatloaf!)

Steps:
- Toss all ingredients in a large bowl and mix together using either a fork or clean hands.
- Roll up 5 sheets of tin foil, placing 3 across the bottom of the crockpot and 2 crossing the others. This gives you a handle to pick the meatloaf up out of the crock and also allows the oils to drain from the meat.
- Form the mixture into a loaf and set in crockpot on the tinfoil "creation". Add sliced zucchini and squash along the top.
- Cover, cook on low 8-10 hours.
- Enjoy and come back to let me know about it! :D.
- (Note: I use my hand and cut the yolk in 1/2 and then sub 1TBS of egg whites to make it a little lower in cholesterol.).

BEST-EVER MEAT LOAF
The combination of onion, carrots, parsley and cheese-plus the tomato-mustard topping-makes this meat loaf really colorful. The recipe lends itself easily to being doubled or halved to suit the number you're cooking for, and it freezes well, too. It's the best meatloaf ever! -Anna Baker, Blaine, Washington

OUR FAVORITE MEATLOAF
This ultimate meatloaf recipe took rounds and rounds of testing to get just right. Our final version incorporates an ideal blend of seasoned ground beef and pork, aromatics, and breadcrumbs and bakes in a freeform loaf on a baking sheet instead of in a loaf pan for maximum browning. The result is a loaf that is savory, tender, and juicy, yet holds together well when sliced.
