PASSION FRUIT SANGRIA
Add a flavorful new twist to sweet sangria with passion fruit puree and citrus fruit in this recipe from chef Jean-George Vongerichten's "Home Cooking with Jean-Georges."

Steps:
- In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine Gewurztraminer, orange liqueur, simple syrup, passion fruit puree, orange, lime, blackberries, pineapple, and ginger; stir to combine. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
- To serve, pour sangria into wine glasses filled with ice, making sure to add some fruit to each glass.
PASSION FRUIT SANGRIA
Steps:
- In a pitcher or punch bowl, combine the Gewürztraminer, orange liqueur, simple syrup, passion fruit puree, orange juice, orange, lime, blackberries, pineapple, and ginger and stir well. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
- When ready to serve, fill wine glasses with ice. Divide the sangria, with the fruit, among the glasses.
- Simple Syrup
- Bring the sugar and 6 tablespoons water to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Remove from the heat and cool to room temperature.
