PULL APART PIZZA
We're huge Notre Dame fans, and we tailgate. A lot! This is one of those recipe that is a sure fit hit with the kids and the adults. Sometimes we get crazy and add other "pizza" type ingredients like olives, or peppers, but mainly we stay with the original pizza pull apart bread-it seems to be a good luck charm for our team! -Dana Elliot, Taste of Home Culinary Specialist

PULL APART PEPPERONI PIZZA BREAD (MONKEY PIZZA)
From Sweet & Simple Living website, your kids will love this savory twist on Monkey Bread. Made in a Bundt pan (half the recipe), it is a beautiful appetizer served with warmed pizza sauce in the center in a ramekin. I usually make half of the recipe to serve 4 with some leftovers as a main dish with a side salad.

Steps:
- Position an oven rack in the center of the oven, and preheat to 400 degrees F. Brush the bottom and sides of a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan with oil.
- Pour the 3 tablespoons oil onto a large dinner plate, and sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt. Pinch off pieces of dough the size of Ping-Pong balls, and roll them into rough balls. Roll each dough ball around in the salted oil until all sides are coated.
- Put half the balls in the prepared pan, squishing them together. Spread half the sauce over the balls, then sprinkle with half the pepperoni, mozzarella and Parmesan. Repeat with the remaining dough balls, sauce, pepperoni and cheeses.
- Put the loaf pan on a rimmed baking sheet (to catch any drips), and bake until the bread is puffed up and golden brown, about 25 minutes. Cover loosely with foil, and continue to bake until the bread is cooked through in the middle, about 25 minutes. Let it rest in the pan for 10 minutes, then use dry oven mitts or kitchen towels to carefully unmold. Sprinkle generously with Parmesan, and serve hot. (Let your guests pull the bread apart!)

- Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl of a stand mixer and set aside for a few minutes (until foamy). Add butter and salt to the yeast mixture, then sift in flour 1 cup at a time, until dough forms. Mix with dough hook attachment at medium speed, until dough is smooth, about 8 minutes. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with saran wrap or a damp towel, and set in a warm area for about an hour, or until doubled.
- Punch down dough and turn out on a well-floured surface. Roll dough out into a large rectangle, about ¼ of an inch thick. Brush butter over the entire surface of the dough, then cover evenly with italian seasoning and cheese.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the dough into squares. Use your best judgment for size, depending on the type of pan you are using (my squares were approximately 3 inches x 2 inches, or just high enough to peak over the top of the tin). Stack slices and place in a greased 9" x 5" loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Cover and let rise for another 40 minutes or until dough fills entire loaf pan. (It took me another hour in a warm place, about 78F.)
