Creamy Italian Dressing image

Steps:

  • Whisk the mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, olive oil, garlic, oregano, sugar, 1/4 teaspoon salt and a few grinds of pepper in a medium bowl. Stir in the parsley, parmesan and pecorino. Season with more salt and pepper. (The dressing will keep, refrigerated, up to 1 week.)

1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sour cream
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 small clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Pinch of sugar
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon grated pecorino romano cheese

ITALIAN PASTA SALAD I

This is an excellent and refreshing pasta salad with a little zing to it. It will also store for up to a week in the refrigerator.

  • In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta until al dente, rinse under cold water and drain.
  • In a large bowl, combine the pasta, Italian salad dressing, Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and red onion. Mix well and serve chilled or at room temperature.
