Edamame Hummus image

Steps:

  • Boil the beans in salted water for 4 to 5 minutes, or microwave, covered, for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • In a food processor, puree the edamame, tahini, water, lemon zest and juice, garlic, salt, cumin, and coriander until smooth. With the motor running, slowly drizzle in 2 tablespoons of the olive oil and mix until absorbed.
  • Transfer to a small bowl, stir in the parsley and drizzle with remaining oil. Serve with the suggested vegetables, or refrigerate, covered, up to 1 day.

Hummus with Sesame image

Steps:

  • Combine the beans, lemon juice, tahini, cumin and garlic in a food processor. Pulse until finely chopped and incorporated. With the motor running, add the olive oil and sesame oil. Thin with 1/4 cup water or more until the desired consistency. Season the hummus with salt and pepper.
  • To serve: Spoon the hummus into a bowl, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika. Serve with carrot sticks, celery sticks and pita chips.

  • Rinse garbanzo beans in a strainer .
  • Soak garbanzo beans in water for 1-2 minutes.
  • Put garbanzo beans in food processor.
  • Put olive oil, black pepper, oregano, dried basil, and lemon juice in food processor seperately.
  • Turn on the food processor for five minutes.
  • If not satisfied with texture, put in olive oil to make smoother and turn on food processor for 1 minute until satisfied.
