SAUTEED SHRIMP
Steps:
- Put the flour on a plate and season with a healthy amount of salt and pepper; mix with a fork to combine evenly. Dredge the shrimp in the seasoned flour to coat all sides.
- Heat the butter and oil in a heavy bottomed pan over medium heat until butter stops foaming and just starts to turn a light brown. Add the shrimp, and give it a toss, saute for 5 minutes until the shrimp is firm and there is a crispy coating on the outside. Remove the shrimp to a side plate and cover to keep warm.
- Put the pan back on the heat and add the garlic and shallots. Cook and stir for 1 minute until soft. Add the lemon juice and chicken broth, give it a stir and let it cook down for 1 minute to thicken slightly. Put the shrimp back in the pan and coat in the lemon sauce. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Steps:
- Squeeze lemon over shrimp and set aside.
- Heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in rosemary, basil, oregano, coriander, and bay leaf. Add white wine and Worcestershire sauce; cook until sauce is slightly reduced and flavors come together, 8 to 10 minutes.
- Add shrimp to the sauce and cook until pink, 5 to 7 minutes more.

- Saute the first 6 ingredients in butter until shrimp is done.
- Stir in next 2 ingredients, (pimiento and lemon juice) heat thoroughly.

- Serve over hot cooked brown rice.

- Melt the butter in a heavy medium skillet over medium heat. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, to taste. Cook for about 4 minutes until almost fully cooked. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the shrimp to a plate and tent it with foil. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent, about 6 minutes. Stir in the wine and bring to boil, scraping up the brown bits on the bottom of the pan. Boil for 1 minute. Stir in the lime juice and parsley. Return the shrimp to the pan and toss to coat with sauce and Continue to cook until the shrimp are fully cooked, about 1 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. - Heat a large pot of water to the boil, add 1 tsp salt and pasta (cooking time about 11 minutes), then start your sauce.
- When pasta is done, usually at the most critical point of cooking the sauce, reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water, and drain the pasta.
- Put butter and olive oil into a large frying pan over medium-high heat and add the garlic when the butter melts.
- Cook garlic, stirring constantly, until it becomes soft, but not browned at all, about 3-4 minutes.

- Bring a medium saucepan of salted water to a boil. Add orzo; cook until al dente, using cooking time suggested on package. Drain; toss with 1 teaspoon oil, and add salt and pepper to taste.
- Meanwhile, heat remaining oil in a large skillet. Add garlic; cook over low heat for 1 minute. Add shrimp, salt and pepper to taste, and 2 tablespoons parsley; cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Turn, and cook for 3 minutes more, or until opaque. Remove from pan, and keep warm.
