HCG Diet Phase 2/3 Strawberry Crepes Recipe - (4.2/5) image

Steps:

  • Mix one egg with three eggs whites. Season with sweetener, vanilla extract and butter extract flavoring. Mash half of the strawberries. Then add strawberry extract and sweetener to taste. Heat the strawberries in a small pot until warm. Slice the rest of the strawberries. Cook the egg mixture in a dry non-stick skillet, flipping it once, so it cooks all the way through. Line the sliced strawberries down the middle and pour the mashed strawberry syrup on top. Sweeten the strawberry syrup as desired. For Phase 3, mix 1/4 tsp strawberry extract and 1/4 tsp stevia into cream cheese and ricotta and blend until smooth. Use to fill Crepes along with sliced strawberries.

12 medium strawberries
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon butter extract flavoring
1/4 teaspoon strawberry extract
Stevia to taste
2 ounce cream cheese, softened (P3)

Steps:

  • Place the strawberries in a blender or food processor; cover and process until smooth. In a saucepan, bring sugar and water to a boil. Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes; cool slightly. Add to blender. Add lemon juice; cover and process until combined., Pour into a shallow freezer container; cover and freeze for 4-6 hours or until almost frozen. Just before serving, whip mixture in a blender or food processor.

Steps:

  • Coarsely mash strawberries with sugar, lemon juice, and salt using a potato masher in a large bowl. Let stand, stirring and mashing occasionally, 10 minutes.
  • Transfer half of strawberry mixture to a blender and purée with cream until smooth. Return strawberry cream to bowl with remaining strawberries and chill, stirring occasionally, until very cold, 3 to 6 hours.

Spicy Lettuce Wraps-Hcg/Phase 2 image

Steps:

  • Brown meat in skillet with the Bragg's.
  • Meanwhile, place celery, garlic and ginger into food processor. Pulse until desired consistancy. I chopped mine very finely.
  • When meat is no longer pink add the pepper and salt. Mix.
  • Add remaining ingredients (from food processor) and cook for another 3 minutes or so to blend the ingredients.
  • Turn off heat and remove from stove, add the cilantro. Mix to combine.
  • Place into bowl.
  • Scoop meat mixture into lettuce and wrap, burrito or taco style.
